Michael currently serves as the Chairman of our Board of Directors as well as the Executive Chairman. He has been the Chairman of Tiptree since its inception in 2007. Mr. Barnes is a founding partner of Tricadia Holdings, LP, a privately held company providing investment management services. Prior to the formation of Tricadia in 2003, Mr. Barnes oversaw various credit trading strategies at UBS, PaineWebber and Bear Stearns.
Mr. Barnes received his AB from Columbia College.
